Auto Glass Warranty

We warrant the installation of your auto glass for as long as you own the vehicle. This means that your glass replacement will be professionally installed and sealed by an experienced technician. Should you ever have a problem with leakage of your auto glass, or are dissatisfied for any reason, just contact AGS Auto Glass and we will be happy to schedule an appointment to determine if the work is covered by a warranty. If our original work needs adjustment, we will do it at no cost to you.  This warranty covers only the replacement mentioned above and only to the original owner of the vehicle (the warranty is non-transferable) and does not cover any incidental or consequential damages. This warranty does not cover new damage from rocks or anything striking your new glass! There are no warranties that extend beyond those expressed. All installed operable or moveable glass parts are warranted for 30 days against mechanical/part failure of operable parts. Installation of glass not purchased with AGS is only covered under warranty against leakage. 

Repair Warranty

A chip repair is performed to restore the structural integrity of the glass. The damaged area does not entirely disappear once a repair is complete. During the repair process many factors can influence the success of a repair. Some of these factors may inadvertently cause the break to get bigger rendering the break unrepairable. In the event of this happening, no worries, the money spent on the repair will be credited towards a windshield replacement performed by AGS Auto Glass. 

Corrosion/Previous Damage

The presence of corrosion or damage on or around the bonding surface may prevent installation or void warranty. This warranty does not cover leaks, stress cracks, or related damage in connection with installations to vehicles having damage or rust on the pinch weld or surrounding areas.

 

 

The above warranty relates to workmanship issues only, e.g. moulding adhesion, windshield leakage issues, and installation related issues such as stress crack. Glass breakage, which is not directly the result of improper windshield installation is not warrantied i.e. stone impact, improper use, abuse etc. Breakage or leaks as a result of subsequent vehicle collision(s), rust, pre-existing damage/issues, or poor vehicle design are expressly not warranted by the above.This warranty is written and backed by AGS Auto Glass. directly. In no event shall AGS Auto Glass, Lynx Services, Safelite Solutions, or its participants be liable for incidental or consequential damages.
